Sikkim Power Transmission Ltd. is a Joint Venture between Sikkim Urja Ltd. (SUL) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. SUL holds 69.08 % of equity shares while PGCIL holds 30.92 %. The Company has completed and commissioned 400 kV Double Circuit Quad Moose Transmission Line from Mangan in Sikkim to Kishanganj Pooling Station in Bihar so as to wheel out the power of Teesta-III HEP (1200 MW) and other projects of Sikkim. The said transmission line has achieved its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 13th February, 2019.
